The mission of the Safety, Health & environment Division is to ensure the safety of SGI employees and trainees, as well as institute’s assets, by identifying hazards, controlling risks and educating and motivating the institute’s personnel and trainees to work and live safely. It encourages environmental awareness and care through planned programs that cater for recycling, water & power conservation, supporting green & natural features and careful disposal of waste.

What is the language of training at SGI?
SGI uses English as a medium of instruction and communication. The first year of training at SGI will be mainly dedicated to English language training and related academic subjects as Math.
What training technology and delivery methods does SGI use?
The SGI compound includes 4 workshops, 10classrooms, 2 laboratories, 5 testing rooms equipped with cutting- edge technology and most up-to-date equipment. SGI sustains contemporary and innovative approaches to teaching where each trainee has an iPad, curriculum is on line, teachers are mainly facilitators and each has access to a plethora of on-line resources and on-line libraries.
Does SGI provide training for people with special needs?
As part of its continued commitment, SGI will be offering selected courses for people with special needs. These courses will be in coordination with charity institutions or in alignment with the sponsorship of certain organizations.
